Podcast Interview and Test of Ketone Esters

A friend of mine, Skyler Collins has a podcast called "Everything Voluntary" he invited me on and we talked about diet, nutrition, and the experience I had with my wife in the ICU.  Since my first post on this experience, Frank LLosa CEO of KetoneAid.com had reached out and sent me a couple boxes of their KE1 ketone esters.  We decided to try 2 bottles each at the beginning of the show and see if we felt any obvious effect. Skyler is not unfamiliar with ketosis and his family has been moving toward a paleo diet. I've been on a ketogenic / no sugar no grain, mostly fatty meats and vegetable diet for 5 years now so the majority of the time I'm in low-grade ketosis.  I was really not expecting the ketone esters to have much effect. I've always been more for getting into ketosis naturally but if ketone esters can be used to get people who are suffering there quicker and it's helpful I'm all for it.  You can do it with fasting but 18 to 24 hours of fasting vs 3

UPDATE: 12/07/2020 The following scientific journal article explains in detail why our experiment dramatically improved oxygen demand.  It also suggests the use of ketone esters which just last week were tried in a new study with almost identical results but instead of waiting 18 hours with fasting, showed improvement in half an hour. https://www.hindawi.com/journals/omcl/2020/6401341/ Short videos with background on why the above paper was written: https://youtu.be/M4KQEgFTrYc https://youtu.be/Ooa6EQi2bB8 New ongoing study to watch: https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04573764 Summary This is just an N-of-1 last resort experiment we did in hope of saving my wife Analiza Scholes after her ICU doctors/pulmonologists had lost hope and had no other options available in saving her from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) brought on by COVID-19.  We did see remarkable improvements/reduction in her oxygen demand within 24 hours and significant improvement in her blood gas numbers w
